O My People also referred to as Oh, My People is the thirteenth song of Animated Stories from the Book of Mormon episode Mormon and Moroni and the last song of the Animated Stories from the Book of Mormon series, the twelfth episode of the Animated Stories from the Book of Mormon with the instrumental version of the end credits and a sing-along version of the video release, Animated Stories from the Book of Mormon Music Video Series 2. It is sung both in the soundtrack and the film proper by Gordon Harkness. Mormon is already a father to a young Moroni, is writing on plates, as archival footage from previous volumes (in chronological order being The Tree of Life, Journey to the Promised Land, Abinadi and King Noah, Samuel and the Sign, and The Savior in America) is shown at once. Throughout this, occasions of Mormon aging to an old man are spliced in with the stock footage.
In the soundtrack version, the second verse, bridge and third verse are repeated.
